A good friend has just pointed out to me that I haven’t explained why I am doing #MindfulMay. I was convinced I had already. Turns out, we were both sort of right. He is correct, I have not put anything on my blog about it. I did, however, explain it on Facebook. My blog wasn’t up and running at the time.
I have been practising Mindfulness / Zen meditation daily for almost 4 years. One of my super sisters gave me a mindfulness jar for my birthday this year (see pic). It challenges me (and maybe you) to a month of daily mindfulness actions.
Basically, it seemed like a fun and interesting challenge (that combination always appeals to me) and would have the benefit of getting me posting to my blog regularly. Something I was avoiding…
